Case Study
210 Pentonville Road, London

Overview
Veolia, the global leader in optimised resource management, needed a London headquarters that reflected their commitment to sustainability and innovation. A space that would bring teams together and showcase their environmental vision.
Living Moss Logo
A living moss recreation of the Veolia icon on the ninth floor reception, reinforcing the brand's commitment to sustainability.
Repurposed Ceramic Tile
A reception desk clad in repurposed ceramic tile, welcoming visitors to the ninth floor.
The Challenge
Veolia had outgrown their existing London office. The layout was fragmented, departments were siloed, and the workspace no longer reflected the innovative, sustainability-focused brand they had become. They needed a complete transformation.
Meeting Rooms
Executive meeting rooms with high back swivel chairs
Flexible Wall
A flexible wall feature that adapts the space.
VOC Paint
All painted surfaces use low-VOC formulations, improving indoor air quality for occupants whilst reducing the environmental impact
The Solution
We placed sustainability at the heart of every design decision. Reclaimed materials, living walls, energy-efficient systems, and biophilic design principles created a workspace that practises what Veolia preaches. Every material was chosen for its environmental credentials.
Recycled Felt Acoustic Design
The decorative hanging panels are made from 60% recycled PET acoustic material.
Recycled Carpet
A recycled carpet runs throughout the open plan floor.

The Result
A forward-thinking destination with a people first and in-person focus. There is a variety of space types to choose from depending on the activity and interaction, from meeting rooms, pods, collaboration tables and informal meeting booths on the working floors and an expansive breakout space with flexibility to become a townhall, events and touchdown collaboration space. We have created a diverse, inclusive working environment combining Veolia's values, sustainability ethos and the needs of their people, making this the first choice for daily interactions and team work. The aesthetic is warm, timeless and calming, prioritising positive change.

The Experience
From day one, the Veolia team were embedded in our design process. Weekly workshops ensured every department had a voice, and our shared passion for sustainability made the collaboration seamless.
“Coda understood our values from the start. They delivered a workspace that our team loves and our clients are genuinely impressed by. It feels like us.”
